How can I tell if my GSXR 750 (Suzuki) is a 2003 or 2004? Or any other year? There is a code on the block, "R741-104172"

Thanks!

Niet op de VIN-tag? Klinkt als U meer dan alleen een probleem! Toch zijn er VIN decoders – denk een op Motolane

Swing by a Suzuki dealer and see what they say.

Your bike is an 04. It was producted in October 2003. I called a buddy of mine who rebuilds motors and said that was the production stamp.

Your bike is a 2004 model year. I work at Suzuki and ran your engine number.

The other way to tell is by the VIN number itself. On all Suzukis it’s the 10th number in the vin. Your is the number 4 meaning the year 2004.

im looking at a gsxr1000 at the weekend, it’s on a 09 plate and the lad says it’s a k8 but its got twin pipes. Did they make k8′s with twin pipes?
